Perhaps we need to rethink the way we regard wars. Why not take a page from the Israelis way of doing things and regard war as a way to make money and heal injured and sick US citizens. The Israelis have admitted (after howling "blood libel"), that they have "harvested not stolen" body parts from deceased combatants, to be used in medical implantation. The average Taliban, properly processed into pieces coulod be worth more than what it takes to kill him, and this way we could recover most of the costs of the war. Then we could go on indefinately, eventually killing most of the Afghan population, and repairing most of our sick population. Then, in the final Israeli like twist, with Afghan depopulated, we could ask for American volunteers to move into the empty Afghan countryside and colonize it for a new America. Surely the world would applaud our actions, or at the very least let us get away with it. I would be first in line, perhaps for a new soul.....
